Tennyson Shield competition 2024

On Wednesday morning, we hosted Otago Girls' High School for the annual OBHS v OGHS Tennyson Shield competition.

Both schools had a junior debating team, and a Year 9 and Year 10 speaker representing them.

The competition was tight, which certainly made deliberations difficult for our adjudicators, Rohan and Orla.  However, for the first time since 2016, OBHS came out victorious, winning the shield for 2024.

Congratulations to both schools, and particularly to the OBHS boys that represented us so well:
