Winter Sports Blues Awards

Last Wednesday night, we hosted our annual Winter Sports Blues awards evening, a time to recognise and celebrate the remarkable sporting accomplishments of our students throughout the winter season.

This year, we celebrated 103 talented boys who received their blues across various categories, including traditional sports, non-traditional sports, and NZ Representatives (Gold Blues).

We are incredibly proud of all the outstanding achievements of our students and teams, which truly highlight their dedication and hard work.

Our guest speaker for the evening was Matt Pyper, an old boy (2016-2020) and current member of the Otago Nuggets Basketball squad. Matt shared his experiences at Otago Boys' High School and provided insight into his journey since graduation. His words resonated with our students, offering them invaluable guidance as they pursue their own paths in sports and life.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated staff members, coaches, and managers who invested their time and effort into supporting our teams this winter. Your commitment is deeply appreciated and has made a significant impact on our students’ success.
