Senior debating

On Wednesday evening, our senior Debating team, OBHS 1, competed in the finals of the Dunedin school’s Debating competition.

The boys put on an admirable performance; their arguments were well-substantiated, and they spoke with clarity.  We certainly felt proud of the way in which they carried themselves.

The finals also signalled Rohan O’Shea’s debating swansong.  Rohan has committed an immense amount of time to our Debating club, and he has led the boys with a great deal of care.  His debate on Wednesday was composed and articulate, and it truly was the perfect way to end his OBHS Debating career.
