Pasifika and Maori Media Design presentation

This week we were very lucky to have Mr Tagaloa Samuela from The Media Design School visit our students.

This important initiative for our akonga is based on Pasifika people and culture, who make up over 7% of the total population of New Zealand. The Media Design School has acknowledged the importance of this and are continually creating and establishing valuable initiatives to help talented Pasifika students excel in a career in creative technology. As a result, this prestigious and non-traditional pathway has now been opened to our boys to see and enjoy the possibilities of future career opportunities.

Our Pasifika boys want to express their thanks for this wonderful opportunity and being able to meet and work with Mr Tagaloa Samuela but also to Mr Lloyd Ma'ole from our Pasifika Parents Committee for helping to bring this valuable connection to our boys.

Fa’afetai, Fa'afetai Lava.
