The senior school exams for 2024 are scheduled to take place from September 18 to September 27.
These exams will cover all NCEA subjects, attendance is mandatory. Saturday, 28 September will be available for catch-up exams if needed.
If a student misses the final NCEA exam in November for an approved reason (such as illness, bereavement, or participation in a national sporting competition), they may apply for a derived grade based on these school exam results.
It is important to note that attendance is compulsory for all external standards; students cannot choose to opt-out. Decisions regarding attendance will be made by teachers, not students.
The exam timetable will be shared with students and their families towards the end of next week to facilitate preparation. For any questions regarding the exams, students are encouraged to reach out to their respective teachers.
