World Refugee Day

This Thursday was World Refugee Day.

We wanted to raise awareness about what it means to be a refugee. Working with Ms. Justice, our Service Prefects put together a library display to educate on the 6 countries New Zealand received the most refugees from between 2011 and 2020. They are and in order: Myanmar, Syria, Colombia, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Iraq.
