School House Committee is proud to welcome Maria Hansen.

Maria Hansen is our newest member of the committee. Maria has two sons at School House - Ashton in Year 12 and Mason in Year 10 and Zavier will be starting in 2025. Maria lives down in Gore and is a primary school teacher, her husband Brent is a builder and they own Hansen Building Services.

Karl Burgess is the father of Hunter in year 13 and Leo in year 11. Karl is also an Old Boy from the Catlins where he is a sheep and beef farmer with his wife Melanie. 

Dan Asher is the father of Sam in year 12 and also an Old Boy. Dan resides on Stewart Island with his family.

Robyn Millar is the mother of Logan in year 10. Robyn is from Wanaka and is a Director of Level Construction.

Kate Anderson is the mother to Charlie who is in year 9. Kate is from Clinton where she is a relief teacher and dairy farmer. Kate chairs the committee and also is a member of the BOT at Otago Boys.

The School House committee meets once a term with the Director of Boarding, Mr Hall, Janis, Archie Chittock and Freddie Hore. The purpose is to strengthen connections between boarding parents and hostel management.
