Many in the class got to experience rock climbing in Year 12 Outdoor Education, but this week they were introduced to bouldering.
Bouldering is a form of free climbing that is performed on small rock formations (or in this case) artificial rock walls. Without the use of ropes or harnesses the boys were given some instruction before being left to practise technique and problem solving, all while managing their safety.
Thank you to Olivia and James from Resistance Climbing Gym for sharing their expertise and supporting the boys in their climbing.
