A Message from the Rector

It is my pleasure to announce the Board's decision to appoint Mr Richard Harvey as our new Deputy Rector.

Richard replaces Andrew King at the start of Term 3, when he takes up the position of Principal at Dunstan High School.

Mr Harvey came to us last year after teaching in both New Zealand and overseas. His work in the curriculum area has been excellent and the management of what we do inside the school and how we assimilate and deliver what is coming from the Ministry and NZQA has been impressive. In addition, he has attended school camps and coached football.

He will retain his curriculum portfolio, as well as having other roles attached to his name. He will be the designated proxy for me, in my absence.

I know we all congratulate Richard and look forward to his continued service in the school.
