Earlier this month a number of OBHS students attended the Commonwealth Sunday Service at St Paul's Cathedral.
This week we received a letter from the Very Revd Dr Tony Curtis SCP (Dean of Dunedin).
Below is an excerpt:
I am writing to congratulate and thank the students who came along and represented OBHS at the Commonwealth Sunday Service recently at St Paul's Cathedral. They were a credit to the school throughout the morning, and Micah Puni very ably lead the prayers as part of the service. A number of people in the congregation made very positive comments about the contribution of Otago Boys', and I was delighted to have the school represented at the service.
Please pass on my congratulations and thanks to the boys, and to Micah in particular; their part in the proceedings was very much appreciated, and I look forward to welcoming OBHS to further events at St Paul's in the future.
