Backroad Jerseys - confirmation

Thank you to those parents who have confirmed with Janis that their son can order a Backrooads Jersey.  We have a number of boy's who have tried on samples for sizing and placed a tentative order with Janis.  We now need parents to confirm with Janis that this is ok to order before she can accept this request from the boy's.  Please email [email protected] otherwise Janis will remove the order.

Leave - Pending Long Weekends

Otago Anniversary Weekend: The hostel is open as usual even though there is no school on Monday 25th March.  If you son is coming home or heading away this weekend please get their leave in now so we know how many we are catering for this weekend.

Also every boy is to get their leave in for next weekend (Easter Weekend) as this is an Out Weekend for all boys (Hostel is closed Easter Weekend).   Leave should be from Thursday 28th March and return Tuesday 2nd April for all.

Supplements Education

It was great to have Shaun King, come in and share his expertise on the safe use and best way to access supplements that many of our boy's are adding to their weekly training or trying out.  Having a safe place to ask questions and also get some good insight into what to do and what not to do has been very valuable.  Shaun came in to one of our prep nights to share with our boys.  Thank you Shaun.

Wanaka Show a Great Success

Thank you to all those families and students who supported our tents at the recent Wanaka Show.  School House and OBHS stood out amongst the others and we have great interest from visiting families.  Great to see many current families and many old boy's stop by and say hello.  Also thank you to hostel mum, Brydon Smallbone and 47 Frocks who hosted many of our mum's and Women of OBHS (WOOBHS) over the same weekend for some nibbles, drinks, and great discounts on some amazing clothes and accessories.  Thank you to those who popped in on the Thursday night also.  It was great to see you all.
