Russell McVeigh Debate Competition

Tim Adler kicks off proceedings as the first speaker of the OBHS debate team competing in The Russell McVeigh Regional Debate Competition.

Sam Kilsby, Tim Adler, Andrew Sinclair and Leo Venn gave some outstanding performances in last weekend's Russell McVeigh Regional Debate Competition, coming away with wins over Central Southland College, Wakatipu High and James Hargest. Narrow losses to Bayfield and to McGlashan in a debate to decide who would make it to the semis which were tough but showed that debating at OBHS is in good heart and great hands!
