Otago Boys' students spill out of the van on a Monday afternoon, and along with about 25 secondary school surfers from around Dunedin surf in tag teams and heats 3.30-5.30 weekly.
This is also an excellent forum for student surfers to network and meet our local surf fraternity. Southern surfers are built tough, the cold dense water and awesome waves of the south breed talented surfers!
Jamie Horsefield is pictured below with members of the Scholastic team heading to Raglan to compete on the National stage. A veteran of National Scholastic events, Jamie hails from Warrington Beach and is Otago Boys' most talented surfer.
