The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme 2016

On Wednesday the Year 13 Business Studies class visited Queen's High School for the launch of this years Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme.

 Otago Boys' have four teams entered in the 2016 competition which is a national competition that has over 600 teams competing for a prize pool of over $25,000. 

The competition requires each team to create a start-up business and take a product to market. Wednesday saw the boys registering with competition organisers, networking with local business people, setting up bank accounts and scoping for potential business mentors. 

This was the boys first small step into a whirlwind 30 week hands-on business focussed practical competition. 

We wish the boys all the very best for their business endeavours in 2016.
