Gateway 2016

Year 13 student Josh Hill is participating in the Gateway programme and is hosted by Steve Mowat Building and Construction.

I am currently on the Gateway programme and go out to placement weekly on a Friday.

I meet early at headquarters and then go to my designated location. I have worked with many different employees, gained life skills and know more about the building industry.

I would highly recommend getting involved with the Gateway programme because you will gain skills for the future. Next year I hope to enrol at Polytech or get an apprenticeship in the building industry.
