Gateway 2016

Year 12 student Blake McLennan is participating in the Gateway programme and is hosted by Calder Motors.

I am currently in Year 12 and on placement for the Gateway programme at Calder Motors. I go out weekly on a Friday.

While out on placement I am working on WOF’s, car services and pulling motors apart. Being on the Gateway programme has given me the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge towards my chosen trade.

I would recommend the programme as it gives you the chance to try your chosen trade and it is a good achievement to have on your CV.
