In November this year the highest level of examinations available to schools in New Zealand will be undertaken by the 40 or so young men pictured.
Now a few months into their scholarship journey, this years scholarship boys have been chipping away at weekly tutorials in Earth and Space Science, Calculus, English, History, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics and Biology. We also have boys boxing it on their own in Te reo Maori, German, Drama and Accounting.
The boys have a lot to live up to after last years cohort secured the best set of scholarship results for Otago Boys'. 21 to beat from 2015, but our target this year is at least 30 scholarships. Old fashioned hard work and love of learning drives our scholarship boys, not to mention a few dollars courtesy of the Treasury should they get a scholarship.
Good luck boys and well done for all your hard work so far - you are preparing well for your next journey at university.
