With snow and ice bringing Dunedin to a standstill on Friday there was initial doubt over whether we would actually make it to the ski field.
Fortunately road conditions improved and the 19 boys were able to enjoy a great weekend of skiing and snowboarding with some of the best snow available.
It was very cold up on the mountain with the maximum temperature only reaching about minus 7 degrees celsius over the whole weekend and the wind chill factor making it considerably lower at times. A bit of low cloud restricted visibility on Saturday afternoon but the rest of the weekend was clear and sunny allowing two full days of action on the slopes.
