Last week Year 12 Geography students travelled to Central Otago studying a range of climatic factors.
They spent time at Bendigo Station, the Matukituki Valley and Naseby measuring temperature, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and cloud cover as well as looking at the surrounding landscape to determine what causes the climatic variation across the region.
Also on the trip the boys had a day trip to Rob Roy glacier to see the extent of how much the glacier had retreated in the 2 years since they had been there on Year 10 camp.
