BYO - Team Debate Competition

Yesterday saw the start of the 'OBHS BYO-Team Debate Competition', which will unfold during lunchtimes during the remainder of the term.

This year we have 12 teams of junior students competing against each other for the coveted title of 'Champion' as well as the chance to compete against our friends down at Otago Girls' in our annual Tennyson Shield exchange.

Yesterdays debate was a classic year 10 vs year9 clash with the moot:   THW require all students to learn a foreign language.
