After an intense couple of days on the courts the South Island Secondary Schools' Basketball Tournament held in Dunedin has come to an end.
Having lost to Cashmere High School 69 - 58 in the semi-final this morning the boys played Christchurch Boys’ for 3rd and 4th placing, coming away with a 76 - 70 win and securing 3rd place in the tournament.
In earlier games they beat St Andrew's College 97-61, Greymouth High School 76-34, Marlborough College 58-39, St Bede's College 84-55 and beat King's High School in the quarter-final 75-50.
Well done to all boys involved and many thanks to the coaches and parents for their suppport. Good luck to the senior team heading to Ashburton this evening.
