Flying Fox Project

10A are investigating building a flying fox at Otago Boys’ during Maths.

A platform could be built from the bridge on the top left of the grandstand, heading towards Stuart Street.

Spectators at rugby games may have to stand away!

Today the students built the models. A huge variety of systems, with most using the strength of the triangle.

It was noted that further models might require some sort of slowing down system near the end.
