After entering a school team for the first time in the Indoor Cricket Competition, our boys won their final last night against a spirited and experienced team of older cricketers. The boys put in one of their best performances of the season winning by a very comfortable 65 runs.
The fast paced, frenetic action of indoor cricket makes T20 look like a slow test match. Ably captained by Max Chu with some of our 1st XI cricketers forming the backbone of the team, it has also given some of our up and coming Year 9 and 10 cricketers an opportunity to play with their OBs cricketing idols.
As expected, apart from the results the boys must be congratulated on the manner in which they play the game. A real credit to the school.
