Winners of the McCullum Cup for the fifth year in succession

Twelve teams took part in this annual pre-season tournament.

Both OBHS teams went through Pool play unbeaten with the Golds having a last ball win over James Hargest.

In the Plate Final , the OBHS Gold team had another close victory this time over Taieri College with the latter needing six to win off the last ball. They lost a wicket instead and the Golds were the winners.

The OBHS Blue team had comfortable victories over Kings, Waitaki and McGlashan in Pool play meeting Waitaki in the Final- a repeat of the First XI Cup final played earlier in the year. A competitive game saw OBHS Blue win with an over to spare.
