Our 1st XI continues its winning ways in the Senior knock-out competition, beating Northeast Valley last Sunday.
OBHS were sent in to bat and opener Max Chu (63) proved an anchor, carrying his bat through the innings, while wickets initially fell at regular intervals.
Valuable 40-run partnerships with Jack Pryde (18) and Jackson Miller (35) proved valuable, before Declan Sua's quickfire 17, helped get OBHS through to a competitive 172/8.
In reply, Valley got off to a flying start and were looking on target before the spinners took the game away from them, finishing short on 116. Hunter Kindley taking four for 12 off 10 overs, Ben Lockrose two for 21 off 10 and Jackson Miller two for 8 off 2.
