Two days of exciting and tense play saw both the First and Second XI games come down to tense finishes with the game between the two top teams on Littlebourne being extremely close.

Chasing 225 to win, Christ's recovered from the loss of two early wickets to be 112/2 mid-way through the afternoon. Three quick wickets swung the game back in favour of OBHS. This was not to last as the visitors got within twenty runs with three wickets in hand. However two very impressive overs from Ben Lockrose saw those wickets fall for the addition of only three runs giving the home side victory by 17 runs.

It was an excellent team display by the OBHS First XI with the highlight being Ben's six wicket haul off 28 overs on the second day. All of the bowlers chipped in with wickets on the first day, while Jack Pryde's efforts with the bat (50) stood out.

The Second XI game was also a closely fought affair played at Bishopscourt. Both teams struggled with the bat on the first day with Christ's finishing their first innings with a lead of thirteen. Very good batting from Louis Holt (71) and Cam Elliott (55) on Day Two saw the OBHS Second XI able to declare 209/8 setting the visitors the task of scoring 197 to win. Good bowling from Michael Ruske (3/17), Charlie Marsh (2/9) and Will Young (2/27), supported by outstanding fielding had the Christchurch side dismissed for 145
