Cyclist Represents Otago

Year 12 student Louis Harris has been away representing Otago at the National Age Group Cycling Championships in Cambridge.

He was involved in the Under 17 Road Race. In his race, two riders broke away for glory leaving a bunch sprint for bronze. Louis finished in the bunch, 3 seconds behind the 3rd placed rider (41st out of 65 riders). He averaged a phenomenal 39.2kph for the 72km. 

Great effort Louis!  (Louis's  sister, who is also competing at the Champs won the Under 23 title).
