Zeb Evington - Gateway Student

Zeb is a Yr 13 student and currently on placement at Kingsgate Hotel in the Kitchen.

Zeb loves cooking and working at Kingsgate has made him enjoy it even more.  He gets on well with the other employees who are very friendly and give clear instructions.  Zeb has gained valuable knife skills and recipe knowledge. 

Zeb starts work at 2pm and gets started with meal prep and assists the Head Chef when cooking main meals for the restaurant and hotel room service.   He also helps at the end of service with dishes, cleaning and closing down the kitchen. 

Zeb would very much like to further himself within this industry once leaving school and being on the Gateway programme has given him a step in the right direction.
