Ever wondered why almost every kid in Canada wants to be a hockey player? Ever thought about giving it a go yourself?
OBHS students have been offered the opportunity to attend two season games between the Dunedin Thunder and the Queenstown Stampede being held at the Dunedin Ice Stadium on Saturday 17 June at 6pm and Sunday 18 June at 4.30pm. (https://www.dunedinthunder.co.nz/schedule) at no cost.
For safety reasons any student under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18. The cost of an adult ticket is $15. (https://www.eventfinda.co.nz/tour/2017/dunedin- thunder).
This is the highest level of competition in New Zealand and you will have the opportunity to see some OBHS old boys in action.
Students must produce their school ID at the venue prior to the fixtures to obtain free tickets.
Bring warm clothing.
