Hello everyone! So I’m sure most of you have already heard about this but Otago Boys’ High School is participating in the Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand’s annual Shave for a Cure event.
This year will be the first year we’re participating in this event as a school since 2013 meaning it will be huge. The date of our shave off is set for the 16th June - it’s just one week away! We currently have more than 30 boys signed up and ready to shave their heads in hopes to raise money and awareness for this cause.
If any parents are interested in coming along to watch the big shave off next week, be sure to arrive at the Otago Boys’ High School’s auditorium at 1pm so you can be seated and ready to watch this epic event. A gold coin donation will be required for entry into the auditorium but it’ll definitely be worth it so make sure you come along and bring your friends! There will be spot prizes and some fun challenges for the shavers.
For anyone who is now interested in supporting OBHS and making a donation to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand, just click on the link provided below and you’ll be taken to page where you can donate to the school team or to individual shavees. Thank you for taking the time to read this message, the OBHS team hopes to see you all there!
