$20 790
The Shave team at OBHS would like to publicly thank everyone who donated to this noble cause, where we had 49 boys shave their head for cancer, all funds being donated towards Leukaemia & Blood cancer NZ. We had over 500 separate donations from people all over the country, and this phenomenal effort would have never been if it wasn't for our donors.
In particular, we would like to say a bit about Brotherhood Barbers. Without these lads, there would be no OBHS Shave for a Cure 2017. They provided all the equipment for the shaving, as well as personnel during a busy working Friday afternoon. We honestly can't thank these guys enough, they really helped get this event off the ground.
We would also like to thank St Hilda's Collegiate school for raising over $500 for us in way of holding a OBHS themed mufti day. Things like this really help not only raise money for a great cause but also bring the Dunedin community together. Also massive thanks to Columba College and OGHS for really getting behind the effort and giving us support on the day.
Once again, here at OBHS we are extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the support we received from our community. We honestly can't thank you enough.
Sincerely The OBHS Shave team, signing off for the last time.
