Otago Boys' was invited to be the first group of students to experience a secondary school program overnight at Orokonui Ecosanctuary.
What a wonderful experience. A night walk to seek kiwi, opportunities to see tuatara, takahe, native eel and kura in the wild are a privilege in today's world.
The calibre of work produced by the students was consistently high and worthy of the 4 credits at level 3 gained by all.
Special thanks to Mr. Twaites, Mr. Sharp, Mr. Roth and Patrick Smit who accompanied the group and to Tahu Mackenzie, Cara Schloots and Taylor Davies-Colley who provided onsite instruction for the group.
