Learn To Race

By OBHS | Posted: Thursday September 7, 2017

The Ravensbourne Youth Yachting Trust is starting a new program focused on the fun and intricacies of sailing and racing for the season 2017/18.

The season will last all spring/parts of summer and fall. The course is for sailors who are comfortable sailing at all age levels. We have a fleet of 40 boats at different levels and the program will be instructed by one of the Trust members, Erik Stibbe, who was an Olympic Coach for both Australia and Canada. Erik will arrange different age groups and skill levels and the kids will over the season be able to race our fibreglass Optimists, OpenBics and even our high performance 29ers boats depending on their skill and age/weight.
