Tongan Language Week 2017 At OBHS

We have enjoyed celebrating Tongan Language Week at Otago Boys'. Our weekly notices featured Tongan phrases and key facts about the Friendly Islands.

Our Pasifika group (Tama O le Aisa) performed traditional dances in front of a willing audience at the Dunedin Hospital ECC. Today our students wore their traditional formal wear, a tupenu and tauvala to school and held a successful cake stall.
