Theatresports

Beginning with just two juniors surrounded by intimidating seniors, Theatresports numbers grew slowly.

Since then, the group has enjoyed the weekly Thursday practices showcasing talent up on stage.

Theatresports also profiled at open night. Recurring themes throughout the night were Scottish ballerinas, a humourous piece where a ‘True Scotsman’ trains his apprentice the art of Scottish ballet. We learnt about how an audience reacts to certain things, and how we can ’play them’ to get the effect we desire. In addition to this, two students have attended extra Friday sessions in which they participate with other schools to improve skills.
