Tuesday lunchtime witnessed a clash of epic proportions as the wit and intellect of two formidable teams of young men went head to head in the final of our long fought junior debate competition.
Over the past term and 3 weeks enthusiastic teams of juniors have slogged out arguments against each other hoping to advance to the next round. Today’s final was fittingly Year 9 vs Year 10 as well as Hostel vs Day boys, to add further spice to the occasion.
In a closely fought debate, the Year 10 team of Liam Connolly, Viz Berry and Angus Henderson took the contest against a tenacious Macleod Glaister, Cody Thompson, and Braiden Foote. Well done boys, debating at OBHS is in good heart!
Debate moot: THW eliminate GST on basic food and living necessities.
