This Saturday, eleven senior groups from around the South Island will meet to perform at the annual regional Kapa Hapa competition at the Horncastle Arena in Christchurch.
OBHS prefect Keegan Henman and old-boy Taonga Te Moanaui made the cut for the group Te Poutūmāro which is made up of performers from Dunedin and Christchurch. Membership of this premier group has involved travelling to Christchurch to attend practices and wananga - a huge amount of work.
We wish Keegan, Taonga and their team the very best of luck. The competition will be live streamed on Saturday.
