Last month OBHS had the pleasure of hosting renowned sports journalist, Arnaud Beurdeley, who was in town following the French rugby team during their test series with the All Blacks.
Mr Beurdeley contacted the school and asked whether we might show him around during his time in Dunedin; he was well aware of OBHS and its strengths in extra-curricular past-times. He was interested to learn about the school and how it developed and maintained sporting success in rugby but also across a variety of sporting codes generally.
Our teacher-in-charge of rugby, Mr Kelvin McCrone, and our 1st XV coach, Mr Ryan Martin hosted Mr Beurdeley and he sent us his thanks and a copy of the article he has just published in France.
We'll be asking Ms Kelly in the Languages Dept to translate this for us - a great chance for you to brush off the cobwebs of your high-school French!
