Congratulations to Year 9 student Jack Light who has recently returned from competing in the Archery Oceania Championships held in New Caledonia. Jack shares his experience with us.
During the holidays I went to the Oceania Games. On the first day we shot a 1440 C144 arrows. I won the 1440 and got a Gold medal. The highest men's score for the day got the Commonwealth medal. My score that day bet every other man's score so I got that medal too.
The next day was the Individual Match Play where I went to the finals and got a Silver medal.
I really enjoyed the Oceania Games and am looking forward to more competitions.
