Raising the Bar

Over the weekend, Torin Webb, Lochlan Webb and Patrick Sefo–Cloughley represented OBHS at the National Secondary Schools Weightlifting Championships, held in Auckland.

All three boys produced remarkable efforts resulting in a third place finish for the team. This is a notable achievement as they were a team of three, whereas other schools had more lifters involved.

Individual Results:

Torin Webb (U62kg)

· Snatch 63kg

· Clean and Jerk 70kg

· 1st place in weight grade

Patrick Sefo-Cloughley (U94kg)

· Snatch 90kg

· Clean and Jerk 105kg

· 2nd place in weight grade

Lochlan Webb (U56kg)

· Snatch 43kg

· Clean and Jerk 52kg
