National Secondary Schools Badminton Tournament

At the National Secondary Schools Badminton Tournament, the Otago Boys' team put in some amazing performances.

The members of the team consisted of last years returning players Josh Kellett, Jared Dixon, Sam Hewson and Matthew Kinley, as well as Year 9 Aaryan Alexander. 

Everyone played brilliantly and left nothing to chance, managing to beat big named schools such as Westlake Boys’ and Palmerston North Boys’. With a narrow loss to Auckland Grammar we finished 2nd out of the 20 teams in Division 2 as well as taking home the South Island Secondary School trophy. 

A huge thank you to Mr Hoffman and Ms Moore for coaching and managing the team. Everyone had a great time in Auckland and we hope to get back to the nationals next year.
