On Tuesday, the schools of Otago came together for the 49th annual Otago Secondary Schools' Music Festival.
It is a fantastic opportunity for vocalists and instrumentalists to play with different musicians and to perform in larger ensembles to produce the power that is not usually heard.
The students performed an entertaining ensemble, including: Star Wars, The Force Awakens; James Bond Medley; Perfect, by Ed Sheeran; O Fortuna, from Carmina Burana; and featuring The Otago Boys' High School Classic Trio playing Beethoven's Trio in B flat, Op. 11.
There was a good turnout from family and friends, and a great way to continue the tradition heading into its 50th year.
