This was again another superb display of controlled football on the Wembley like surface of Littlebourne.
The prefects started with a hiss and a roar as they charged forward on attack. Flynn scored with a deflected shot to make it 1 nil. The staff fought back with a midfield of Brown, Ford, Allen and Sharp taking control of the game and eventually after a free flowing passing move Mr Sharp found the back of the net.
Another period of sustained pressure from staff resulted in a number of chances being created. These fell to the strike force of Wansink, Golder and Moore. Unfortunately the staff were undone by a quick break led by Thom and Hill who crossed for Woo to finish. This only spurred on the staff who were now looking to get back on even terms. A good run and finish by Moller set the crowd alight.
Staff looked to have held on for a draw until the cruellest of blows when Thom found space and buried the winner.
Overall a great game played in good spirits with the prefects holding out for a 3-2 win and hold onto the trophy for another year.
