Chess Nationals

In the first weekend of the school holidays the two chess teams (consisting of Max Lough, Ryan Lau, Vann Louie Llanos and Ethan Lau in the A team, and Noah Oseki, Nicolas Wright, Luke Geddes and Aaron Nelson in the B team) travelled to Mount Maunganui for the Secondary Schools Chess Finals.

They played seven rounds over the weekend with the A team placing 6th out of 20 and the B team placing 16th. Both great results from playing much harder teams from the North Island.
