The International students got together to honour and say goodbye to our International Director Brenda Hogue.
After a shared lunch the boys took the opportunity to share memories, express their thanks and wish Brenda well with her next adventure – retirement!
One of our students promised to bring back a Japanese rugby jersey, another wrote and recited a poem in Chinese, many others expressed poignant words, and funny stories. Some chose to show their respect in ways unique to their culture.
To finish the boys surprised Brenda with a haka led with great mana by one of the senior students Cameron Cheung.
Ms Hogue said she was very humbled by the students’ expressions of respect and gratitude.
She will be missed by students and staff. We wish her all the very best.
