Great thrill

It was lovely to have  OBHS Old Boy and New Zealand Olympic athlete Evan Maquire visit the school. He was thrilled to see his name along with other distinguished Olympians that have attended Otago Boys' on the honours board in the school auditorium.

Evan was a Otago school boys rugby rep, Otago athletic representative, holder of the Otago Junior One Mile Record, New Zealand 10,000 metre record holder and finalist in the 10,000 at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.
