This term we have been running a can drive to support the Presbyterian Family Works Food Bank.
This has been run as part of the House competition. The boys contributions earned points towards the shield competition. The other major event this term has been the athletic sports, won by McIndoe.
McIndoe took out first place in this event as well, followed by Saxton, Aspinall with Park coming 4th.
Presbyterian Support were thrilled to receive over 1000 food items to help replenish their stocks.
Quote from Mrs Jude McCracken at Presbyterian Support :
" Thank you again for the wonderful donation of goods, this will certainly stock our shelves in the Food Bank just in time for the cooler months coming. "
This takes McIndoe to a significant lead in the house competition with the other houses scores all tightening up.
It is all to play for in Term 2 with the major House competitions being Cross Country and the Haka competition.
