OBHS was the setting for the 2019 Pacific Voices Speech Competition.
This is the second year of the event which was planned and developed by the Pasifika students at OGHS.
This years speech topic was "challenges that Pasifika students face in the 21st century". OBHS was represented by three brave speakers this year. Inoke Katia, Patrick Sefo-Cloughley and Kilifi Uele. All three students did an amazing job of delivering informative and thought provoking speeches.
Well done to all students involved and special thanks to Mr Eugene Shields and the students of Otago Girls' for organising a successful event.
