Last weekend the South Island Diving Championships were held at Moana Pool.
Three Otago Boys' pupils participated in the competition with great success.
Firstly, Emir Erkinov (Year 9) competed in the NZ age boys 12-13 age bracket and won all his events. Theo Smith (Year10) due to an injury was only able to compete in one event which was the Open Men's 3 metre but despite this, he won convincingly. Lastly, Rohan Leckie-Zaharic (Year10) competed in the Open Men's 1 metre and 3 metre coming second in the 3 metre and winning the 1 metre. Rohan also competed in the Junior Elite Boys (14-18 years) 1 metre, 3 metre and Platform taking the top spot in all those events.
Well done boys for your awesome effort and outstanding performance!
