Henry Freeman - Hosted by Stewart Construction

I am a boy from a small town in South Otago and have always loved the outdoors and want to pursue a career in building.

I am spending Friday's on the Gateway programme at Otago Boys’ High  with Stewart Construction, helping with the construction of the new kindergarten in South Dunedin. 

I help put up cavity battens on the exterior of the building and have helped with many other jobs around the building site.  I am loving the work experience and I seriously recommend the Gateway programme. It is helping to build my understanding of the industry and whether I want to carry on  and look at seeking an apprenticeship.
